

An Environmentally
Friendly Hotel
At our level, we are working to contribute to the preservation of the nature around us and, more broadly, our environment. To achieve this, we have implemented eco-friendly measures over the years.


Solar Panels
As pioneers, in 1997, we installed 17 solar panels on the roof of La Perle des Vosges, which provide hot water for the rooms and the pool.

Heat Pump
When the pool was built in 2022, we prioritized natural materials such as wood for the framework and equipped the technical room with a heat pump to heat the Vue de l'eau area and the walkways.

Sunshades
During a renovation in 2015, we equipped 15 rooms with adjustable louvered sunshades to regulate indoor light and temperature, combining comfort with eco-responsibility.

Local Suppliers
We prioritize short supply chains by working with local market gardeners, farmers, fishmongers, winemakers, and foragers. This not only ensures the quality of their products but also reduces transportation, preserving the freshness of the goods.

Refillable bottle
Since 2023, we have been using refillable glass bottles in the restaurant for both sparkling and still water, thereby avoiding the transport and recycling of approximately 5,000 bottles per year.

Electric car terminals
Since 2021, two charging points have enabled our customers to recharge their electric vehicles while they relax and enjoy a delicious meal.

Selective sorting
On a daily basis, we use no less than five bins to sort our waste, one for bio-waste from foodstuffs and another for composting raw plants. We send glass, especially bottles, and cardboard for recycling through the Cocci network, which considerably reduces our overall waste.

Ecological cleaning
We have been using eco-labelled cleaning products for over 10 years, and over 90% of them since 2022, to maintain our premises, particularly the kitchens.
Since 2023, we have been giving hotel guests the choice of whether or not to change their towels on a daily basis, thereby reducing the consumption of washing water and the use of detergents. Similarly, guests are offered a treat when they opt for a day without cleaning.

QR Code
In 2023, we replaced the welcome booklet in the rooms with a QR code enabling customers to find all the answers to their questions at their fingertips. This will save us hundreds of printed pages a year and give our customers direct access to other useful internet links.
